The Shipping / Receiving Associate is responsible for preparing & processing basic shipments through the ERP system, shipping software and shipping portals.

PRIMARY JOB RESPOINSIBILITIES

• Prepare shipments including packing, box building, banding, wrapping and weighing skids
• Process parcel shipments using computer software and portals
• Process export shipments and documents for parcel shipments
• Load freight via tow motor
• Perform ship audits
• Communicate with other departments regarding logistics & corrections
• Escalate order/shipping issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions
• Good basic math skills
• Good basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail
• Tow motor experience
• Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to execute physical tasks
• Ability to work collectively to achieve goals as a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up-to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
