    Job description

    About Hot 8 Yoga

At Hot 8 Yoga, we embody the practice we teach. Powered by heat, movement, and community, we are the premier hot yoga studio coast to coast with locations across California and New York City. Our philosophy is rooted in connection and in the belief that true transformation begins when individuals step into purpose-driven work. We offer a wide range of class styles, so there’s space for every level and every body and our studios are sleek, spotless, and intentionally hot.

We are more than a yoga studio, we are a community. If you are passionate about wellness and looking to contribute to a professional, supportive, and mission-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you!

    The Role

The Regional Director is responsible for the overall performance of Hot 8 Yoga’s New York City territory, currently consisting of three studio locations.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for sales, people, operations, and the overall success of the NYC market. The Regional Director will lead our Studio Managers, drive revenue and membership growth, oversee hiring and team development, and ensure each studio consistently delivers the Hot 8 Yoga experience.

We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable analyzing numbers, coaching a manager, interviewing a candidate, walking a studio, solving an operational problem, and jumping in when the business needs support.

    What You’ll Do

    Drive Sales & Studio Performance

    • Own the overall sales and business performance of the NYC territory.
    • Drive membership sales, revenue growth, retention, and achievement of studio goals.
    • Review studio performance and key metrics regularly and develop action plans when results are below expectations.
    • Build a strong sales culture and ensure studio teams understand and consistently execute sales expectations.
    • Identify opportunities to grow the NYC market, improve performance, and strengthen the client experience.

    Lead & Develop Our Teams

    • Directly lead, coach, and develop Studio Managers across all three NYC locations.
    • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain strong studio leadership and team members in partnership with HR and other company departments.
    • Establish clear expectations and hold leaders accountable for their teams and studio performance.
    • Provide regular coaching and feedback and address performance concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Build a strong leadership pipeline and identify opportunities to develop and promote team members.

    Own Studio Operations

    • Maintain a regular and visible presence across all three NYC studios.
    • Ensure studios are appropriately staffed and prepared to meet business needs.
    • Oversee scheduling and labor management while maintaining appropriate service and operational standards.
    • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational expectations are consistently followed.
    • Maintain high standards for studio cleanliness, organization, safety, and client experience.
    • Identify operational challenges and work cross-functionally to resolve them quickly and effectively.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of multi-unit, regional, district, or comparable leadership experience.
    • Experience overseeing multiple locations and directly managing managers.
    • Strong sales background with demonstrated experience driving revenue and achieving measurable business goals.
    • Experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, developing, and managing employee performance.
    • Strong understanding of labor, staffing, scheduling, and operational management.
    • Ability to understand business data and turn it into clear, actionable plans.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to be present in the studios.
    • Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or another multi-location service business is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to travel regularly between NYC studio locations.
    • Flexibility to support the needs of a seven-day-a-week studio business, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

    Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000–$120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
