You will be responsible to:

As Senior Finance Technician, you'll own the end-to-end Accounts Payable cycle for our sites in Portugal, Ireland, and the US, from invoice processing and vendor inquiries to reconciliations, expenses, and support month-end closing activities, from an AP perspective. We're looking for someone who wants to do more than process invoices: someone who will monitor, question, and improve how things work. You'll be part of our Finance team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across all three countries:

• Process invoices from submission and validation through payment.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle vendor inquiries and manage AP mailboxes, acting as a point of contact for vendors, procurement, and invoice approvers.
• Monitor the backlog and prioritize work to keep the process on track.
• Process travel and expense claims.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Identify and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and consistency across the AP process.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

• Academic or vocational qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related area, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable
• Hands-on experience with SAP
• Experience with vendor statement reconciliation and handling vendor inquiries
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with digital tools
• A process-oriented mindset, with a focus on quality over quantity
• Clear, open communication and the ability to work with stakeholders across countries
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (both mandatory)
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus
