We’re excited to expand our team and invite a skilled and experienced Baker to join us in continuing our tradition of excellence.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, talented, and motivated full time or part time Baker to be a key part of our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking, a wide variety of baked goods, ensuring that each product meets our high standards of taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
- Operate baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, with precision and care.
- Bake a variety of items, including bread, pastries, cakes, pies and cookies, following established recipes and techniques.
- Assemble baked goods, ensuring visually appealing and consistent results.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and food handling practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet customer demand.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-year previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, from scratch recipes, and ingredient handling.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work early mornings, Saturdays, and some holidays.
- A positive attitude, teamwork, and a passion for baking are essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
