Child & Adolescent Therapist (Part Time)

HRDI is seeking Contract Child & Adolescent Therapist to perform direct care services to children and adolescents. This is a full-time position responsible for providing oversight and supervision during periods of psychiatric assessment and medication training and monitoring.

In addition, the Contract Child & Adolescent Therapist will:

• Provide billable Medicaid services to all assigned clients/residents at a minimum of 26 direct service hours per week.
• Complete all necessary service planning as required by rule 132
• Identify and address gaps in the service provision
• Assure the participation of team members, the individual, the guardian, the family and necessary professionals.
• Provide psycho-educational services to family members of assigned clientele
• Assure that the services specified in the services paln are being provided
• Facilitate individual linkages and transfers

This position requires a minimum:

• Master Degree in Social Work/Psychology or an appropriate human service field
• Minimum of two years exp in the human service field
• Proficient in MS Office programs
• Ability to problem solve and work effectively with people
• Knowledge of Community Mental Health , Rule 132, and the Department of Mental Health
• Sensitivity to multi-cultural differences
• Ability to relate well to people of all socioeconomic groups
