ASIAN RESTAURANT MANAGER
Job Summary: The Restaurant Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the entire restaurant operation. He/she is required to ensure the highest level of service is provided to guests and to ensure dining room standards are maintained while simultaneously motivating staff to perform at their optimum.
Responsibilities:
- Directing the day-to-day function of assigned restaurant to ensure smooth flow of operations
- Ensuring restaurant is constantly upholding the authenticity of the theme based off of menu options and environment
- Conducting restaurant rounds, visiting each table and interacting with guests regarding their dining experience while handling guest challenges in a professional manner
- Contributing to annual budget planning, including staffing guide and capital requirements
- Ensuring inventory is updated and new items are stored correctly
- Developing team members through training, coaching, and evaluating to ensure organization's goals, missions, and vision are communicated and implemented
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry preferably working in one or more of the following themed restaurants: French, Italian, Asian
- Computer literate with computer application and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certification in any relevant area
- International experience would be an advantage
