COST CONTROLLER

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures that minimise cost inefficiencies, protect the assets of the company and ensure maximum profitability for the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting inventory audits
• Monitoring the process of fuel consumption in all areas to include: Water sports, laundry, housekeeping and stewarding with the goal to improve efficiency
• Assisting the receiving clerk when necessary and assume the role in the absence tc
• Auditing invoices, credit memos and product security to ensure accurate food cost percentages

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a first degree in Accounting, Finance or business related discipline or ACCA Level II
• At least three years' experience in a similar position
• Experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry is preferred
• Must be able to adapt to change and new situations Must be able to work long hours
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• The ability to lead & motivate others
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control principles
