PLAYMAKER
Job Summary: The playmaker is responsible for delivering vibrant, interactive, and professional entertainment programs. He/She organises and participates in daytime and nighttime recreational games and activities with guests.
Responsibilities:
- Creating an environment of fun during any event happening at the Resort
- Preparing space, equipment, and props ahead of scheduled activities
- Liaising with partnering departments on activities in advance for early set-up
- Checking activities and entertainment spaces prior to the event
- Providing clear and properly sequenced information about each activity for guests
- Announcing safety precautions and procedures for activities, prior to and if necessary, during an activity
- Playing an integral role in the set-up and delivery of features of themed events
- Monitoring community craft artisans, invited on property, for conformity to resort standards
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Performing Arts, or related fields
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a similar field
- Experience in performing arts is an asset
- Experience in hospitality or resorts is an asset
