WATER SPORTS ATTENDANT

Job Summary: The water sports attendant is responsible for maintaining the beach, beach chairs and swimming area. Assist and instruct the guests as to the proper usage of watersports equipment so as maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for both guest and team member.

Responsibilities:

• Attending meetings and participates in training programs as assigned
• Removing all plates and used cups from the beach and boardwalks and returns them to the bar or beach grill when seen
• Assisting and instructing the guest in the safe usage of the water sports equipment
• Maintaining guest safety during all lessons
• Briefing guests on the proper usage of equipment before it is issued
• Ensuring that clean towels are constantly stocked in the shop and that the used towels are removed to the laundry
• Ensuring that you are physically fit at all times so that you can assist a guest who may be in difficulties
• Maintaining the standards and procedures as per your lifeguard license

Qualifications:

• A valid lifeguard license and be CPR trained
• Coxswain license to operate vessels which may be under your command
