DESIGN ENGINEER

We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Cartridge Valve Design Engineer at our Schaumburg, IL facility.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, as well as generous paid time off and continuing education assistance. Salary range commensurate with experience and qualifications, between $85,000-$105,000

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and develop Hydraulic Cartridge Valves including Solenoid Valves, Pressure Control Valves, Directional Valves and Proportional Valves.
• Create part detail drawings, assembly drawings, customer drawings, manufacturing drawings, test procedures, work instructions, etc.
• Set-up, change, and manage parts and assemblies in PDM and ERP/MRP systems.
• Maintain engineering documentation to support current manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to optimize design details for manufacture.
• Participate with other departments to address manufacturing, design or quality issues, and ensure the continuous      improvement of designs and processes
