Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue across Hypebeast’s digital, social, branded content, and experiential platforms, meeting assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting, account growth, and new business development, with accurate forecasting and clear next steps.
- Independently own assigned client and agency relationships from outreach and briefing through proposal, negotiation, close, and internal handoff.
- Maintain a high volume of account activity, including a baseline expectation of 8 quality client and agency meetings per week, with timely follow-up and responsiveness.
- Develop and confidently present strategic, client-ready proposals with clear narratives, deliverables, pricing, and timelines.
- Proactively manage opportunities, deadlines, and cross-functional collaboration, escalating early when support is needed and demonstrating strong knowledge of Hypebeast’s products, processes, and capabilities.
- Leverage AI, technology, marketplace insights, and cultural trends to improve efficiency, inform sales strategy, and proactively identify opportunities.
- Take accountability for assigned business by following through on commitments, communicating effectively, and incorporating feedback.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in media sales, brand partnerships, marketing, or agency partnerships.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue or comparable commercial targets.
- Experience selling integrated branded content and storytelling-led solutions, not solely standard media.
- Strong understanding of the media, publishing, social, marketing and advertising landscape.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to independently lead client conversations and pitches.
- Strong operational discipline across pipeline management, forecasting, proposals, follow-up, and internal coordination.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of how fashion, footwear, luxury, and beauty brands authentically engage with culture.
- Proficient in AI-powered tools and modern sales technology, with the ability to quickly adopt new platforms and use technology to improve productivity, research, organization, and sales effectiveness.
- Proactive, accountable and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced sales environment.
