Hyper Solutions is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing and assembly activities at our Anaheim facility. This hands-on leader will coordinate people, materials, and production priorities to help ensure products are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to engineering and quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Direct daily assembly and production work, including schedules, assignments, staffing, and production priorities.
- Ensure employees have the job orders, engineering documents, inspection sheets, and other information needed to complete their work.
- Maintain a visible presence on the manufacturing floor, coaching employees and addressing safety, quality, and productivity issues as they arise.
- Monitor workload, labor hours, material availability, shortages, and on-time performance. Adjust assignments and coordinate with other departments to keep work moving.
- Inspect work, materials, products, and equipment for compliance with production and quality standards.
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies, and support employee training in safe work practices, assembly processes, Lean manufacturing, and 6S.
- Provide performance feedback, complete employee evaluations, and address performance or attendance concerns.
Additional Responsibilities
- Review and approve employee and temporary associate timecards; verify labor entries and close job orders accurately.
- Investigate recurring product discrepancies, manage defective material, and support nonconformance documentation, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Identify engineering or documentation issues during production, initiate Engineering Change Requests when needed, and support prototype builds.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Shipping, and other teams to resolve shortages, production constraints, and customer-related issues.
- Support inventory activities, workplace organization, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Review overtime needs and manage overtime responsibly while meeting production commitments.
