HYTORC is currently seeking a Tool Repair Technician to work on our line of Pneumatic/Electro-Mechanical Torque Multiplier tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains torque tools, and equipment requiring mechanical, electrical or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
- Pretesting of pneumatic and electric tools and accessories for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.
- The job involves trouble-shooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and calibrating all types of torque multiplying tools in shop.
- Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day to day repair requirements.
- Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
- Assists in familiarizing and training customers on tool operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
Education/Experience Required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
- Must have and be able to use your own set of basic tools.
- Demonstrate ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations.
- Must be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have clean and valid driver’s license.
Computer Skills Necessary
- Basic computer skills and proficiency (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel).
Physical Demands/Requirement
- Ability to routinely lift 25-40 lbs tools.
- Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching.

The wage range for this role considers various factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has been adjusted for the applicable geographic location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22 to $28.
