Member Engagement Volunteer Coordinator

Job Summary

The Member Engagement Volunteer Coordinator supports volunteer, recognition, community, and conference engagement programs that strengthen member involvement and enhance the volunteer experience. This role coordinates multiple programs and annual initiatives, maintains volunteer data and reporting, provides support to members and volunteer leaders, and collaborates across the organization to deliver high-quality engagement opportunities. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills are essential for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the annual Call for Volunteers process, including recruitment, applications, onboarding, communications, recognition tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate volunteer engagement for conferences and organizational initiatives, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communications, and program support.
• Administer volunteer recognition programs, including awards and appreciation initiatives, in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Support Advisory Board operations by coordinating meetings, communications, reporting, volunteer records, and related engagement activities.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new volunteer, community, and engagement programs as organizational needs evolve.
• Manage the Affinity Group program, providing support and resources to volunteer leaders while maintaining accurate program records.
• Support conference networking and engagement initiatives by partnering with internal teams to develop and execute member-focused experiences.
• Maintain volunteer and contributor data, reporting, and program metrics to support planning, decision-making, and program effectiveness.
• Provide responsive support to members and volunteers, helping ensure a positive and consistent engagement experience.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and best practices that enhance volunteer and member engagement programs.
• Collaborate across departments to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
• Perform other related duties and special projects in support of member engagement and volunteer programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
