    Job description

We are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for a strategic customer in Singapore. This is a customer-facing role where you will connect customer requirements, supply chain strategy and cross-functional execution to ensure reliable delivery, competitive cost, supply resilience and continuous improvement. You will serve as the primary supply chain interface for the customer, partnering closely with internal teams across procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality, as well as engaging senior customer stakeholders to drive performance and long-term supply chain excellence.

    Responsibilities

Customer Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

    • Understand the customer's demand forecast, production schedule, and supply chain maturity expectations

    • Develop and maintain a supply chain roadmap aligned to customer growth plans (ramp timelines, new product introductions, footprint changes)

    • Manage capacity planning to ensure Ichor's supply base can fulfill customer demand without disruption or excessive inventory

    • Lead quarterly business reviews with customer covering delivery performance, cost initiatives, and supply chain strategy

Dual-Sourcing & Supply Chain Risk Management

    • Identify critical components or categories where dual sourcing is required to meet customer reliability expectations

    • Advocate and track qualifying second sources, manage their ramp, and ensure they maintain qualification over time

    • Monitor supply chain risk (supplier concentration, geographic exposure, financial health) and develop mitigation plans

    • Manage supplier transitions, consolidations, or changes with customer visibility and alignment

    Cost Optimization & Commercial Alignment

    • Lead cost reduction initiatives aligned with customer expectations and competitive benchmarking

    • Partner with commodity teams to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate pricing, and manage cost pass-throughs

    • Ensure cost targets and cost reductions are aligned with customer direction and contractual commitments

    • Manage inventory stocking programs and customer liability — balancing safety stock with working capital efficiency

    Continuous Improvement & Customer Programs

    • Manage customer-directed improvement initiatives (cost reduction, quality, delivery, lead time reduction)

    • Coordinate joint continuous improvement programs — identifying opportunities and tracking benefit realization

    • Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement plans for suppliers serving this customer

    • Report on supply chain initiatives, improvement progress, and supply chain health metrics to customer

    Material Flow & Escalation Management

    • Ensure on-time delivery through material escalation coordination — identifying supply risks early and resolving them before they disrupt customer schedules

    • Manage expediting, material shortage resolution, and customer notification in case of delivery risk

    • Coordinate with manufacturing operations, procurement, and customer to resolve material constraints

    • Maintain visibility into supply chain health; escalate risks to internal leadership and customer as appropriate

    • This role may manage Material Program manages for customers if and when customer scope requires

    Forecast & Demand Alignment

    • Partner with customer on demand planning and forecast accuracy

    • Ensure internal planning and procurement teams have accurate, timely customer forecasts

    • Manage demand volatility and plan for ramps, downturns, and product transitions

    • Drive forecast accuracy; identify and resolve root causes of demand misalignment

    Customer-Facing Reporting & Communication

    • Own a customer scorecard covering delivery, quality, cost, and supply chain health metrics

    • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly supply chain business reviews and performance reports

    • Serve as the voice of the customer internally — advocating for customer needs in prioritization and resource allocation

    • Manage requests for information (RFIs), customer questionnaires, and supply chain assessments

    Requirements

    • 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, or supply chain program management

    • 3+ years in a customer-facing or account management role — managing customer expectations and relationships in supply chain management

    • Experience managing dual-sourcing strategies, supplier transitions, or supply chain risk mitigation

    • Strong understanding of demand planning, capacity planning, and supply chain metrics

    • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and managing competing priorities

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills — comfortable engaging with C-level customer stakeholders

    • Semiconductor capital equipment, precision manufacturing, or complex supply chain environment preferred
