-Maintain existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications
-Work on production support and trouble shoot production issues.
-Develop SQL, PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and data cleanup as needed.
-Work with other Software Engineers in identifying and resolving application issues.
-Work with Project Managers to provide estimate of effort for work and progress of worker
-Work with Business Analysts and business users to understand problems, enhancements and data changes requested.
-Work with Quality Assurance and Release Coordinator to transition changes made from development to system test and to production.
-Use incident tracking system JIRA to document changes made and progress
-Use software version control SVN to track code changes.
-Attend status meetings as required
Required skills:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (minimum 3 years experience in Information Technology)
-Minimum 3 years experience in Web deployed Oracle Forms and Reports development
-Minimum 3 years experience using Oracle databases
-Minimum 3 years experience in writing PL/SQL
-Minimum 3 years experience using software development methodologies to perform analysis, design, construction and implementation of custom software
Preferred skills:
-Experience using Agile methodology is a plus
-Experience designing systems around the use of automated workflow, document imaging, and custom business applications is a plus
-Experience in the Financial/Retirement sector, including administration of retirement systems and/or health insurance is a plus
-Proven ability to multi-task on concurrent projects
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Participation in continued education will be considered a plus
