- We need a (10yrs +) Data Architect who is good with Data analytics and Data strategies and not a Big Data Architect
- The Data Architect will not be involved in development practices.

Responsibilities:
- Works on stablishing metadata management, data catalogs, data standards, and best practices for Master Data Management
- Develops Data Governance, standards, roadmap, and architecture decisions
- Develops standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data integration/synchronization
- Defines data strategy, policies, controls and programs to ensure that the enterprise data is accurate, secure and reliable
- Identifies areas for data quality improvement
- Engages with relevant internal parties and external vendors in best practice sharing and effective Master Data Management solution delivery
- Provides data consultation on complex projects and acts as a top level specialist
- Ensures compliance with data architecture principles and standards for the various systems and components based on design patterns
- Leads selection of preferred data management technologies
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Distributed Architectures is required. Best practices at development cycles of an Agile methodology
- Hands on experience configuring and tuning Apache Hadoop CDH (Cloudera Distribution Hadoop) or Hortonworks distribution
- Good communication skills
- Good practices, proactivity and client-facing skills
- Architectural understanding of the Big Data ecosystem
