De functie

De Supervisor, Productie is verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen van de dagelijkse cannabisproductieactiviteiten en zorgt ervoor dat processen efficiënt, veilig en volgens de geldende regelgeving en bedrijfsnormen worden uitgevoerd. Deze rol combineert praktische productieactiviteiten met teamcoördinatie en fungeert als schakel tussen productiemedewerkers, teamleiders en de Secondary Manager. De Production Supervisor moet beschikbaar zijn voor ploegendiensten (vroeg/laat).

Wat je gaat doen

Kerntaken

• Coördineren en toezien op alle operationele activiteiten binnen het productieproces (knippen, drogen, wegen, etiketteren en verpakken).
• Organiseren van de dagelijkse teamplanning en ploegoverdrachten; taken toewijzen en de werkverdeling monitoren.
• Toezien op naleving van SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) en productieprotocollen.
• Ondersteunen en coachen van teamleden om continue ontwikkeling, productiviteit en naleving te waarborgen.
• Procesafwijkingen, apparatuurproblemen of kwaliteitsrisico’s signaleren en rapporteren aan de Secondary Manager.
• Productieresultaten monitoren, belangrijke KPI’s documenteren en bijdragen aan wekelijkse rapportages.
• Zorgen voor een schone en hygiënische productieomgeving volgens GMP/GACP en interne normen.
• Het goede voorbeeld geven op het gebied van werkhouding, punctualiteit en teamwork.
• Deelnemen aan audits, inspecties en verbeterinitiatieven.

Ondersteunende taken

Naast de kerntaken kan deze functie ook bestaan uit een combinatie van de volgende ondersteunende werkzaamheden, waarbij de tijdsverdeling wordt bepaald door de leidinggevende op basis van de bedrijfsbehoeften:

• Vertegenwoordigen van de merkwaarden van Leli: veiligheid, verantwoordelijkheid en vertrouwen.

Overige taken

• Uitvoeren van andere werkzaamheden zoals gevraagd, opgedragen of toegewezen. Regelmatige aanwezigheid volgens de normen van Leli Holland (dochteronderneming van Village Farms International, Inc.) is essentieel voor deze functie.

Wat je meebrengt

Opleiding:

• MBO-niveau (bij voorkeur een technische of operationele achtergrond)

Ervaring:

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in een productieomgeving
• Leidinggevende ervaring is een pré
• Ervaring in gereguleerde productieomgevingen (landbouw, voedsel, farmacie) en kennis van cannabisverwerking is een pluspunt

Certificaten:

• In staat zijn een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) te verkrijgen

The Opportunity

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day cannabis production activities, ensuring that processes are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards. This role combines hands-on production work with team coordination, acting as a bridge between the production staff, Team Leads, and the Secondary Manager. The Production Supervisor must be available for shift work (early/late). 

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions

• Coordinate and oversee all operational activities within the production process (trimming, drying, weighing, labeling, and packaging).
• Organize daily team planning and shift handovers; assign tasks and monitor workload distribution.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and production protocols.
• Support and coach team members to ensure continuous development, productivity, and compliance.
• Identifyand report process deviations, equipment issues, or quality risks to the Secondary Manager.
• Monitor production output, document key metrics, and contribute to weekly performance reports.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic production environment in line with GMP/GACP and internal standards.
• Lead by example in workplace conduct, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and process improvement initiatives.

Supportive Functions

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.

Other Duties

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.  Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Leli Holland, a subsidiary of Village Farms International, Inc. from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

What You Bring

Education:

• MBO level (technical or operational background preferred)

Experience

• 2+ years in production role
• Prior leadership experience ispreferred
• Familiarity with regulated production environments (agriculture, food, pharma) and cannabis handling is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be able to obtain Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
