Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152.  Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. This is considered a full-time position with an average of 28 hours/week or more.

The schedule for this position is:

Monday 12:00pm-6:30pm

Tuesday 12:00pm- 6:30pm

Thursday 7:00am-12:30pm 

Friday 7:00am-12:30pm

Saturday 6:00am-10:30am  

Holiday availability is required if normally scheduled to work. 

Minimum age of 18 years old is required to be considered for this role.

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service associate/dietary aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or olderFor cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
