Full-time Lunch/Dinner Cook

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Cook to work at Pacific Springs, located at 805 South 173rd Court, Omaha, NE 68118.  Pacific Springs has 67 independent living apartment homes, 52 independent living patio homes, 35 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes.  Adjacent to Pacific Springs Golf Course.

We are looking for someone to work 10:30am-7:00pm, which will include some weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum age of 18 is required and must have at least one year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual dining. This is not an entry level position. 

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area. You will be preparing delicious and nutritious food for the senior citizens who live at this Immanuel community, as well as guests and employees.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old required.
