Consultant in Energy Transition

We’re looking for consultants to join our growing Energy & Climate team in Munich, Hamburg, or Düsseldorf and help ambitious organizations transform towards a more sustainable future.

What you’ll do

You'll work at the heart of the energy transition, helping ambitious clients turn strategic ambition into practical, executable plans. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the project and may include:

• Supporting the development of energy transition strategies and implementation roadmaps
• Contributing to the implementation of energy strategies across markets and countries
• Assisting in building business cases and assessing the economic and environmental impact of emerging technologies
• Conducting market, competitor, and industry analyses across the energy sector
• Supporting clients in adopting technologies such as hydrogen, battery storage, and renewable energy solutions, as well as strengthening their resilience
• Contributing to go-to-market initiatives, client pitches, and proposals
• Researching new topics and supporting the development of emerging opportunities

What you’ll bring

We're looking for someone with a strong technical and commercial foundation who thrives in a collaborative, high-autonomy environment. On top of some initial experience (internships or up to two years professional experience) from management consulting, the energy industry, or a related field, you:

• Hold a relevant master’s degree or equivalent, ideally in process engineering, industrial engineering, engineering or another technical discipline, combined with strong business acumen
• Combine ambition and a results-oriented mindset with a collaborative and approachable working style
• Enjoy working in a network-based culture with autonomy, teamwork, and shared responsibility
• Bring a basic commercial understanding and an interest in business development
• Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Can structure complex challenges and help translate them into practical solutions

On top of that, it is a prerequisite that you’re fluent in German at C2 level and in English, both written and spoken.
