Field Officer

This role is required to coordinate with local networks, manage ground-level content production and data collection, and ensure field activity timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Coordinate with local networks and community contacts to support ground-level content production for the radio and social media platforms.
• Manage the collection of field-based stories, footage, and testimonies for use in counter-narrative and success-story content.
• Support logistics for media-related field activities, including youth media production training and City Recovery Ambassador content shoots.
• Ensure localised broadcast and social media campaigns align with the timelines of wider field activities (e.g., training cohorts, community events, centre openings).
• Coordinate local partners' field delivery, quality-assure field training sessions, and ensure that partner-led sessions align precisely with the project's milestones and timeline.
• Maintain accurate records of field-based activity for reporting and MEL purposes.
• Support community outreach and liaison functions as required, including facilitating access for media production activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in media, communications, or a related field.
• Experience working in a field coordination or content production support role in Syria or a similar context.
• Strong local network and community liaison skills across target governorates.
• Fluent in Arabic; working English desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment with tight production timelines.
• Based in Syria; able to travel regularly across target governorates.
