Schedule:

Full-Time: Monday – Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Some Job Responsibilities:

• Provides speech services as per student IEP mandate to students on designated caseload.
• Writes logs, reports, and evaluations as required.
• Ensures that all documentation and reports are completed in a timely fashion.
• Participates as a member of their designated students’ treatment team.
• Participates in student CSE meetings as assigned.
• Adheres to all school and agency policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled department and school meetings.
• Attends trainings/conferences, when available, for professional growth.
• Provides consultation for staff, when requested, with regards to suggestions, ideas, and information for classroom-wide and individual interventions.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with administration, staff, and parents.

Job Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology;
• NYS License as a Speech-Language Pathologist;
• Valid NYS Driver’s License preferred;
• Certificate of Clinical Competence;
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills:
• Experience working with school aged children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred;
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as (but not limited to); twisting, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing;
• Must be able to sit, walk, drive, and stand for prolonged periods of time;
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
