Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Scientist who will lead our efforts to analyze complex data and derive insights that will guide strategic decisions and improve our products and processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and use models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex data sets to extract actionable insights and help drive strategic decisions.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization, and modeling.
- Proficiency in using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Pandas, etc.
- Excellence in DevOps or Scala is highly desirable.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and communicating insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to drive projects from conception to completion with minimal guidance.
