Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Underwriting Intern, you may:
- Assist with underwriting activities for Commercial Auto and Businessowners lines of business.
- Support the completion of policy renewals, endorsements, quotes, and other underwriting transactions.
- Analyze market opportunities and industry trends.
- Participate in special projects involving underwriting guidelines, process improvements, and emerging business opportunities.
- Review claim data and assist in developing recommendations for policy or procedural enhancements.
- Evaluate underwriting materials and resources to ensure they are current, accurate, and effective.
- Collaborate with underwriting professionals and gain exposure to business decision-making.
