The Clinical Support Staff Coordinator works with the clinical staff and providers to ensure the day-to-day operation of the clinic is efficient and productive. Takes and records vital signs and other physical data. Prepares patients for examination by the physician. Assists physician in examining room. Makes referrals as appropriate and necessary. Administrative: Serves as site’s VFC Coordinator. Trains new clinical staff; serves as clinical preceptor. Prepares in-kind reports. Completes and submits clinical PDSAs. Orders clinical supplies. Acts as liaison between clinical support staff and Practice Manager.
Attends management meetings and communicates relevant information to clinical support staff.
