You'll join a close-knit, highly collaborative recruiting team within a well-resourced HR & Culture team, with real opportunities to learn, grow, and invest in your own professional development.

This is a 100% full-cycle recruiting role, and you'll own the entire hiring process from end-to-end for every search you run — from opening the role to the final offer. That means getting curious about the work and the team, partnering with hiring leaders to understand deeply what they need, building a recruitment strategy, writing compelling job postings, proactively finding and engaging candidates, guiding both candidates and hiring managers through interviews, and helping close the offer for great hires. You'll have strong tools at your fingertips, including a LinkedIn Recruiter seat complete with its Hiring Assistant tool. But your most important job will be your ability to build relationships. We're looking for someone who asks great questions, communicates exceptionally well, follows through, and approaches recruiting with a customer-service mindset.

Knowledge & Skills:

· Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and sound hiring practices

· Demonstrated success in cultivating, developing and enhancing professional relationships and candidate relationships

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Collaborative working style and ability to work with many stakeholders at varying levels

· Ability to appropriately articulate the mission and vision of Indiana University and the IU Foundation to attract potential candidates

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Ability to work on a variety of projects and searches simultaneously

Education & Experience:

· A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required

· Two years of human resources experience with experience in talent acquisition is required

· Experience executing on a variety of sourcing techniques, with strong relationship building abilities is required

· Combinations of related education and experience will be considered
