Food Services Associate I - Ball Memorial - PRN

Schedule:
PRN - various shifts and hours - will work with school class schedule as needed
All positions must work every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.  This position is a continuous standing physical job/work, must work with patients, may need to take food orders for patients, may need to deliver food/drinks, cleaning kitchen, working in a dish room, you will be trained to use required equipment, and required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
• No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
• Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
• Requires the ability to climb ladders.
• Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
