Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00 pm
*Rotating weekends
**Occasional 11:30am-8:00pm; as business needs and shift coverage
WORK LOCATION
Arnett Hospital
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gathering dirty trays and running dish plates through dishwasher.
- Washing pots and pans.
- Putting away clean dishes and maintaining a clean dish area.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and office floors.
- Pull trash from kitchen throughout the entire shift.
- Put clean dishes away in proper locations.
- Scrub cover base around kitchen and serving line.
- Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public.
- Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service.
- Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
- Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
- No experience required. Prior food service experience is preferred.
- Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
- Requires the ability to climb ladders.
- Physical requirements to include reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
