We are looking for a hands-on E-Payment Services Manager to own the operational performance, commercial efficiency, and cross-functional integration of our global network of Payment Service Providers (PSPs), acquirers, and local payment methods.
Managing PSPs requires negotiating rates, navigating vendor roadmaps without direct leverage, driving payout/settlement reconciliation, and solving complex payment routing issues. You will act as the key operational hub connecting our third-party PSPs with our internal teams.
- Manage relationships with external PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateways globally. Navigate vendor roadmaps and push for feature prioritization and technical fixes
- Monitor and optimize payment processing fees (MDR, fixed transaction costs, FX).
- Drive unit economics improvement by optimizing routing across different PSPs.
- Oversee settlement timelines, FX rates, reserves, and payout schedules alongside Treasury and Finance.
- Coordinate ensuring accurate data flow for financial reconciliation, reporting, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams to resolve settlement gaps and discrepancies.
- Track performance metrics (Authorization Rates, Conversion Rates, Technical Failures) by region, PSP, and payment method.
- Oversee operational incident resolution during PSP downtime or processing degradation, solving the recurring patterns.
- Act as the single point of contact between external PSPs and internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Product, and Engineering).
- Facilitate onboarding of new payment providers, contract renewals, and audits.
- 5+ years of experience in Fintech, PSP management, or merchant payment operations (focus on performance, commercial relationships, negotiations, optimization and process improvement)
- Proven track record of managing external commercial partners, negotiating processing fees/rates, and handling uncooperative vendor roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of payment unit economics, settlement cycles, FX margins, chargeback management, and provider reporting.
- Strong experience liaising with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Compliance teams for reporting, auditing, and contract execution.
- Ability to analyze payment processing logs, settlement statements, and conversion metrics to spot anomalies and optimize routing.
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken).
