Cloud Engineer – Azure

Responsibilities:

<br>● Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.<br>● Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).<br>● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.<br>● Perform regular maintenance, patch management, and security hardening of cloud resources.<br>● Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.<br>● Respond to incidents during the night shift, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLAs are met.<br>● Manage identity and access through Azure AD, ensuring compliance with MFA and<br>RBAC policies.<br>● Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.<br>● Document system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.<br><br>Required Skills & Competencies:<br>● Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services.<br>● Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform.<br>● Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (AKS/Docker).<br>● Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization within Azure environments.<br>● Familiarity with security controls, backup & disaster recovery configurations.<br>● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.<br>● Essential for 24/7 operations, customer service, or managing different time zones.<br><br>Preferred

Qualifications:

<br>● Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).<br>● Experience supporting global operations or enterprise cloud environments.<br>● Exposure to multi-cloud tools or hybrid cloud integration is a plus. </div>
