Job Summary

We're seeking a versatile IT & System Administrator for our local office within a global organization. This role combines ownership of critical business applications with hands-on onsite and remote IT support. You will serve as a key local IT resource, working closely with our global IT team and acting as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Fluency in both Arabic and English is required to effectively support users and stakeholders across the business.

Key Job Responsibilities

General IT Support (Primary focus):

• Provide hands-on deskside support for our Windows-based environment, resolving issues with laptops, peripherals, and other hardware in a local office.
• Contribute to the global IT service desk queue (via DeskPro), resolving L1/L2 tickets for employees worldwide.
• Administer and support core business platforms, including Microsoft 365 (Entra ID and Intune), Google Workspace.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management (IAM) system.
• Provide support for VOIP telephony providers.

Application Ownership (Secondary Focus):

• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business applications (e.g. marketing, project management tools), providing advanced L2/L3 support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for various third-party applications.
• Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, manage vendor escalations, and create clear documentation.
• Partner with business departments to understand their needs and optimize application use.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an IT support role
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and general hardware troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
• Experience in using ITSM platforms (DeskPro, ServiceNow or Jira)
• Excellent problem-solving and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• High communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Ability to work independently while being an active member of a distributed global team
• Proficiency in both Arabic & English Language
