About the Role
Are you ready to lead a dynamic, high-performing team that drives excellence in content creation, delivery, and strategy? As the Director of Content & Publishing Operations, you will take ownership of our global content operations and lead our centralized team of content production professionals across editing, design, translation, platform usability, and multimedia. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for producing and publishing research content while driving the continual evolution of tools, capabilities, systems, and processes that power our organization's strategic vision. You'll set a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan underpinned by clearly defined goals and budgets aligned with business priorities and customer demands, while fostering a positive, engaged culture across globally distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Set strategic direction, operating objectives, and performance standards for the global function; develop long-term workforce planning, succession strategies, and capability development initiatives
- Operational Excellence: Define and evolve the strategic operating model and organizational design, ensuring structures, workflows, governance, systems, and resource allocation align with business priorities and growth requirements
- Risk Management: Own operational risk management by proactively identifying capacity, delivery, process, technology, and organizational risks; implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity
- Continuous Improvement: Oversee operational transformation initiatives that drive improvements across processes, systems, and ways of working to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with senior stakeholders across Research, Consulting, Technology, Finance, and Operations to influence priorities, investment decisions, and organizational change initiatives
- Performance Management: Establish operational governance, performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms that drive accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making
- Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to managers and team leads, fostering a high-performance culture focused on engagement, development, and operational excellence
- Project Delivery: Support on-time delivery of high-quality, differentiated research projects—both syndicated and consulting—that exceed client expectations

What We're Looking For
- Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels with a track record in evolving and overseeing content production processes
- Technical Expertise: Experience with modern content management systems, analytics tools, and AI solutions; understanding of how technology transforms operations
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Stakeholder Management: Strong experience navigating matrix organizations, building consensus across diverse teams, and interacting confidently with senior stakeholders
- Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to research content, ICT industry intelligence, or research processes and methodologies
- Operational Excellence: In-depth knowledge of business processes that deliver content efficiently and cost-effectively at high quality
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities with executive presence and attention to detail
- Vendor Management: Experience with vendor governance and strong negotiation skills; solid quantitative analysis capabilities
