Your contribution!
As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s activities across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects. You will provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on project development, procurement, construction, acquisitions, financing, commercial contracting, and partnerships.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support projects across BQuebec, other Canadian provinces, and the United States—from early-stage development through financing, construction, operation, and potential acquisition.

Your skills, our requirements!
Member in good standing of the Bar of Quebec or another Canadian province
Membership in a U.S. state bar is an asset
5 to 7 years of relevant legal experience (law firm, in-house, or both)
Experience in areas such as project financing, mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy project development, infrastructure, procurement, construction, commercial contracts, or corporate transactions
Experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, natural resources, or project development sectors is an asset
Experience coordinating due diligence, transaction closings, and post-closing obligations is an asset
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and sound judgment
High degree of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across legal, business, technical, financial, and operational teams
Practical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with document management systems or legal project management platforms is an asset
Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.

The position can be based in the company's Headquarters in Longueuil (Qc).
This position is a P3 level.
