Your tasks:

Monitor business transactions & ensure correct representation in the books as per US GAAP standards
Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplifications, op. excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis
Perform activities required for month-end closing (preparing and posting accounting entries, running reports) according to the respective deadlines
Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliation according to INNIO Policies and timely follow-up on open items
Provide timely and appropriate financial data and supporting documentation to internal auditing
Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive accounting
Initiate and control monthly payments and provide issue resolution
Being a contact for internal inquiries
Focal point for functional projects
Supports KPI preparation

Your profile:

2-4 years of proven Accounting experience in a multi-gaap environment (SSC)
First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP or another ERP system
At least Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with relevant years of experience in Finance)
Written and verbal fluency in English AND Hungarian
Ability to learn/ understand Standard & Processes quickly and adhere to them accurately
Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
Effective interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style
Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
