    Are you an experienced Emergency Veterinarian looking for a diverse, challenging caseload and the opportunity to manage complex cases you may not encounter at other hospitals?
    Join Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga as an Emergency Veterinarian and enjoy a unique opportunity to practice advanced emergency and critical care medicine alongside specialists, experienced ER clinicians, and a dedicated support team, all while having clinical autonomy.

      • Experienced overnight ER DVMs can opt to work 9 shifts every month / 4-week block.

    • 130k - 160k salary plus production - earning potential of $200k+
    • Production is paid out quarterly with no negative accrual!

    • We pay 100% of Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and State Licensure Fees
    • Diverse ER caseload with clinical autonomy - manage cases you won't encounter at other hospitals!
    • Access to specialized veterinary training courses, including Global FAST Scan Ultrasound, 3-Day Spay & Neuter Training, and 2-Day Hands-On Dental Training.
    • No state income tax! 
    • Experience as an Emergency  Veterinarian is preferred
    • Schedule  Flexibility - typically 3-4 shifts per week, rotating to include night, swing and weekend shifts
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree / VMD or equivalent
    • An active veterinary license in the state of TN is preferred, but not required, we will cover state licensure transfer fees
    • Passionate about practicing outstanding emergency veterinary medicine but also building and fostering a strong team
    • Strong communicator who models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
    • A 6,180-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility providing advanced emergency and specialty care
    • A team of Specialists in Oncology and Surgery, and a cohesive group of nine (and counting) Emergency Clinicians
    • A skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and support staff (4 to 1 Veterinary Technician to DVM Ratio)
    • A dedicated leadership team including a Hospital Administrator, a Director of Clinical Staff, and a Client Service Supervisor
    • Advanced diagnostics: onsite CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy
    • Fully equipped surgical suites
    • Specialized equipment including Snyder oxygen cages, canine/feline transfusions, LigaSure, PoliPhase sealant, and GIA stapler
    • 24/7 patient monitoring and critical care
    • Chemotherapy and immunotherapy services
    • Isolation ward for infectious disease care
    • Home to Cure for Cats Thyroid Treatment Center
