We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Technician Sr. to work in children’s specialties including Inova Children's Hematology/Oncology, Inova Children's Pulmonology, Inova Children’s Gastroenterology, Inova Children’s Neurology and Inova Children’s Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. This role will be full-time, day shift with varying hours from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m, Monday – Friday.

The Senior Orthopedic Technician communicates effectively with patients, families, outside contacts, medical staff, care team members, students, and supervisors while completing administrative and other responsibilities in support of the department/unit as assigned by the supervisor. Demonstrates and provides advanced expertise to the professional staff in the care/management of patients as directed by physicians and/or requested by staff. Maintains orthopedic equipment and supply inventory by ensuring that equipment is kept clean/in proper working order and that supplies are maintained at appropriate par levels. Provides direct patient care and documents care given under the direction of physicians for inpatients/outpatients.

Previous Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) work experience
At least one (1) year of experience in a pediatric medical office
