Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient PRN

Inova Physical Therapy-Springfield is looking for an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs between Monday - Friday. Clinics Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am -7:00pm, Friday-7:00am to 4:30pm We offer 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:

• The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist Licenser or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.

Preferred Qualification:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
