We are currently seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team in Mint Hill. This position exists to assist in the production of commercial roller shades.
What you will do:
- Operate automatic and manual fabric cutting machines according to production schedules.
- Operate metal saw machines according to production schedules.
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate cuts.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustments for different fabric types and sizes.
- Inspect metal tubes and/or fabric for defects before and after cutting; report any quality issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during machine operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues; escalate major problems to leadership.
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs of materials used and output.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Previous experience operating fabric cutting machines or similar equipment preferred.
- Ability to read measurements and interpret technical specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle fabric rolls safely.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels from production machinery.
- Occasional computer work.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
