The MariaDB/MySQL DBA will have following responsibilities:
- Performs day-to-day administration of the database server including maintenance, and configuration.
- Performs troubleshooting and resolution management
- Provides support for advanced user jobs and analytics
- Should be able to Write SQL queries for ad-hoc exports
- Should be able to support existing integration which include technical objects like Procedure and packages
- Need to complete regular activities like creating new schema, replicating schema, replicating Data for different financial years.
- Performing SQL performance tuning across application.
Must have skills include:
- MariaDB/ MySQL Server Performance Tuning
- Scripts Tuning
- Data Architecture Design
- Database Solution Architecture and Design
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workaround
