Oracle HCM Functional Specialist

As an Oracle Fusion HRM Techno Functional Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping organizations leverage the power of Oracle Fusion HR to streamline their HR processes. You’ll wear multiple hats, acting as an implementer, developer, consultant, and troubleshooter.

Responsibilities

• Successfully implement new Oracle Fusion HR modules according to project timelines and client requirements.

• Design, develop, and implement functional enhancements and customizations to Oracle Fusion HR modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, etc.) that meet specific client needs and improve process efficiency.

• Leverage your knowledge of Oracle Fusion HR and HR best practices to provide insightful recommendations and guidance to clients on optimizing their HR processes.

• Actively participate in unit and system testing of Oracle Fusion HR configurations and customizations. Identify and document any discrepancies between actual and expected results.

• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Fusion HR, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.

• Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and test plans, to support future reference and knowledge transfer.

• Collaborate with team members to analyze business challenges and leverage Oracle Fusion HR functionalities to develop and implement effective solutions.

• Provide technical support for other Oracle database systems as needed, ensuring their smooth integration with Oracle Fusion HR.

• Develop technical specifications to document system configurations and customizations. Generate HR metrics and reports using Oracle reporting tools to provide valuable insights into HR data.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of 5-7 years of functional experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Functional Experience (with functional knowledge) in Oracle Fusion Cloud in Core HR, Recruitment, Performance Management modules and/or other HCM modules.
• Functional expertise to support a production environment for enhancements and fix issues.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL programming, building reports in both (XML, RDF) (Extensible Markup Language), (Resource Description Framework), Custom Forms, Workflow, AME (Approval Management Engine), and OAF (Officer Assignment Folder) customization and personalization.
• Expertise in Oracle Configurations, APIs (Application Programming Interface), API User Hooks, Interfaces (standard & build custom interfaces).
• Expertise in AME Approval Management Engine. Expertise in APIs, interfaces, data migrations, and user hooks. Change management & control for user requests.

• Documentation skills in the technical and functional side, using (AIM, OUM, or as per organization policies and procedures).

  DESIRABLE: MSc/MBA in Information Technology or related field .
