Account Manager, EMEA

Discord's Advertising Solutions team helps gaming, mobile, and entertainment brands reach one of the most passionate and engaged communities on the internet. Our ad products — including various Quests — are built around action and participation, not passive impressions. We're in an exciting phase of scaling our advertising business, and the AMs on this team aren't just executing campaigns — they're shaping how we show up for advertisers.

As an Account Manager, you'll own a portfolio of advertiser relationships post-sale and serve as their strategic partner across the full campaign lifecycle. You'll combine data-driven insights, platform expertise, and proactive communication to drive performance, grow investment, and turn first-time advertisers into long-term Discord partners. This person will report to the Director of Account Management.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own a portfolio of advertisers across cross-platform and mobile gaming, mobile, or gaming adjacent — managing relationships end-to-end from campaign kickoff through renewal
• Analyze campaign performance data to surface insights, identify optimization opportunities, and build wrap reports that connect results to client business goals
• Drive revenue growth through proactive mid-flight and post-campaign upsell motions, setting up your AE partner to close the next investment
• Co-lead client-facing touchpoints, including kickoffs, check-ins, and business reviews — with the confidence to present data and earn the next buy
• Manage the full campaign execution lifecycle: media plan builds in Ads Manager, asset submission, pre-launch QA, pacing, and escalation
• Coordinate mobile and XP measurement setup with MMP and attribution partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Gamesight) and serve as the technical point of contact for attribution
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records — line items, media plans, call notes, and pipeline updates — in partnership with your AE

What you should have

• 4+ years of experience in digital advertising in an account management, client success, or campaign management role (platform or agency-side)
• Strong analytical skills — you can calculate CPI, ROAS, CPM, and pacing variance accurately, and translate numbers into a clear client narrative
• Demonstrated track record of growing accounts, not just retaining them — you can point to specific upsell or expansion wins
• Experience with performance advertising, mobile gaming, or app install campaigns
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), ad platforms, and campaign reporting dashboards, as well as attribution platforms such as Gamesight and MMPs like AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular
• Experience with console/XP gaming platforms (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) and cross-platform title launches is a plus
• Clear, confident communicator — you can run a QBR, write a wrap report that closes the next deal, and manage client expectations under pressure
• Organized and process-driven; you build repeatable systems and flag issues before clients do
• Willingness to travel across EMEA for in-person client meetings and industry events

Nice to have

• Existing relationships with major EMEA gaming publishers/studios and leading media agencies
• Experience working with emerging or innovative ad products in a high-growth environment
• Passion for gaming and strong knowledge of the EMEA gaming landscape
• French or Russian language proficiency
