JOB INFORMATION
The Community Nurse provides nursing and basic medical services within IRC’s integrated humanitarian health program for conflict-affected populations and other vulnerable groups. The position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary mobile team together with a psychiatrist and psychologist.
The nurse conducts a basic health assessment of clients, provides nursing care, monitors vital signs, dispenses medications prescribed by the physician, and provides self-care recommendations. In cooperation with the psychiatrist and psychologist, the nurse participates in assessing clients’ needs and vulnerabilities, conducting home visits, managing patients, and, when necessary, referring them to appropriate services. The position is based in Mykolaiv, with frequent field travel to communities in Kherson oblast.
