Job Description and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Machinist and apply your machining expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking a skilled professional with strong machining experience, a solid understanding of API and premium threading, and programming knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality components, improving machining processes, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and ensuring equipment performs at the highest standard.

• Drive operational results by improving productivity, yield, first-pass yield, setup efficiency, troubleshooting, and changeover performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily production activities to meet or exceed production targets and support the monthly shipping plan.
• Exercise due diligence by taking every reasonable measure to ensure employee safety.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with operators and key stakeholders to identify issues, resolve problems, and support continuous improvement.
• Provide or coordinate employee training to ensure team members meet job standards and performance expectations.
• Support compliance with all company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Report mechanical and electrical concerns promptly and contribute to root cause and failure analysis activities.
• Engage employees in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste.

Requirements

• Journeyman Machinist certification with 8+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with API and premium threading connections preferred.
• Previous experience leading a team and overseeing daily work activities is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in business operations and process improvement.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
