Diesel Mechanic (2nd Shift)

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy-duty diesel trucks and/or equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, brakes, inspections, etc.)
- Repair/replace major components including engines, transmissions, turbos, and differentials
- Use diagnostic software (Cummins Insite, Detroit Diagnostic Link, OEM tools)
- Complete service documentation for repairs, parts, and compliance
- Communicate repairs and recommendations to customers and internal teams
- Follow all safety standards (OSHA, DOT, company protocols)
- Maintain tools and equipment for daily operations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years working on diesel trucks or heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tools preferred
- Basic welding/fabrication a plus
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in shop conditions
Bonus Points:
- Diesel tech certification or ASE (T2–T8)
- Experience with Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, or Mack
