    About the Role:

We’re seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join our ESG technology team. In this role, you will work closely with ESG business partners and technology teams to lead analysis efforts for complex ESG initiatives. You will operate independently, apply expert judgment, and act as a senior resource within the team to ensure business needs are clearly defined and effectively delivered through technology solutions.

This is a hands‑on role suited for an experienced analyst who thrives in fast‑moving environments and enjoys solving complex, non‑routine problems.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    • Lead discovery and requirements definition for complex ESG data and technology initiatives

    • Partner with ESG and business stakeholders to understand workflows, data needs, and priorities

    • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

    • Work closely with engineers, and data teams in an Agile delivery model

    • Solve complex problems using independent judgment within established standards

    Requirements of the Role:

    • 10-12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.

    • Demonstrated experience leading analysis and execution for large‑scale or complex, data‑driven technology initiatives

    • Solid understanding of data concepts, SQL, snowflake, and reporting or analytics tools

    • Financial services or asset management experience required.

    • Experience working in Agile delivery models and partnering closely with engineering teams

    • Strong domain knowledge in ESG, investments, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, or data platforms is preferred.

    Why Join Us

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high‑impact team working on ESG capabilities that matter—to clients, regulators, and the future of investing. We offer an environment that values autonomy, expertise, and continuous learning, with opportunities to influence meaningful outcomes across the firm.
