Head of Data Engineering (MS SQL server)

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Data Engineering to lead our data engineering team and manage the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure at our SaaS product company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and experience leading a team of data engineers in a SaaS product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the data engineering team and manage the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server in a SaaS product environment.
• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses to support business and SaaS product requirements.
• Collaborate with product leaders to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs and improve our SaaS product offerings.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance and data management best practices.
• Monitor and optimize performance of data systems to ensure they are running efficiently.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data engineering processes.
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization to ensure data engineering efforts align with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and management, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server in a SaaS product environment.
• Proven experience leading a team of data engineers in a SaaS product environment.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes in a SaaS product environment.
• Experience with data governance and data management best practices in a SaaS product environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with SaaS product development and management is a plus.

Experience working with telecom operators is a plus.

Exp: 10-16yrs

Salary: Rs. 45L – 55L pa
