MS - SQL Database Administrator

Job description

• Looking for candidates with experience as DBA in MS SQL server.
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA.
• Performing Health Checks and monitoring using Automated scripts and tools.
• Experience in User access management, Performance tuning and optimization, backup and restoration, Recovery, Replication, Clustering, Always On, Log shipping, Compression, Indexing and Partitioning, Disaster recovery.
• Experience in capacity planning as per the business requirements.
• Upgrading/Migrating the SQL Servers Instances/Databases from one server to another.
• Good knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience in handling large data sets.
• Creating /Modifying the Linked servers.
• Should have Designed and created database objects tables, views, procedures, functions as per the project requirement.
• Should Understand the application and analyze requirements.
• Should have good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of all versions of MS SQL Server.
• Experience in cloud environment.
• Understanding of ITSM processes.
• Good to have experience in other data warehouses like Teradata, Hadoop etc.
