We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team on a PRN (as needed) basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments while providing exceptional patient support and care. Candidates perform a variety of technical tasks associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation to patients, predominately adult and geriatric, as prescribed by the physician.
Candidates participate in treatment planning, custom block and immobilization device design and fabrication, dosimetry calculations and quality control and assurance. Candidates assist in training of support personnel. Has full access to patient health information.
