Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming mail, parcels, and express shipments throughout campus.Prepare outgoing mail and packages for pickup by postal and courier services.Operate postage equipment and maintain postage accounts.Track accountable mail, certified mail, registered mail, and special deliveries.Maintain accurate records of package deliveries and mail distribution activities.Assist faculty, staff, and students with mail-related inquiries and issues.

Position Details:

This direct hire role is part time, on call, and performs work in the M Store on the campus of Maryville University. Hours will range within 8:00AM- 6:00PM and available to work rotational weekends. Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Lifting up to 55lbs and a valid driver's license is needed. We handle all incoming package deliveries for the University Faculty and Students.

Hourly Compensation: $18 - 19 USD per hour

Responsibilities

The Copy/Mail Team Member will be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude, in addition to:

• Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
• Shipping & Receiving/Ordering supplies
• Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers
• Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
• Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines as well as all safety procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

The Copy/Mail Team Member will possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, is effectively able to work independently and in a team environment, in addition to:

• Must have access to reliable transportation to reach locations not on public transportation routes
• Must have valid DL
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management
• Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
• Lifting up to 55 pounds
